Founding Partner
Over the course of her 15+ year professional career, Ms. Emy has been involved with companies leveraging technology to create new marketplaces in order to disrupt, overtake or enhance traditional ones.
Prior to Raisol Capital, Ms Emy worked with the founding partners at Sterling Select, the Alternative Investment Platform of Sterling Equities, a platform for investments in early stage and/or growth opportunities. Prior to Sterling Select, Ms. Emy was part of the management team of TabletHotels.com, an international online travel site. A member of its inaugural team Ms. Emy in 2001, Ms.Emy handled multiple roles over course of company’s growth as it became the leading provider in its segment. Prior to Tablet, Ms. Emy was Vice President at Intrasphere Technologies, where she was responsible for defining and aligning the company’s strategic direction. Ms. Emy worked to prepare the company for acquisition that led to an eventual acquisition by Deloitte. Previous to this Ms. Emy worked as a management consultant at Diamond Technology Partners, defining and implementing digital strategies for Fortune 500 clients. While living in Hong Kong, Ms. Emy was in charge of cable equity strategy for the Taiwan market and was responsible for equity investments in cable systems across Taiwan on behalf of STAR TV, a Hong-Kong based pan-Asian satellite television owned by News Corporation.
Ms Emy has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School and an MA in International Relations (China Studies & International Economics concentration) from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BS from Cornell. She has lived and worked in Mainland China, Taiwan and Japan.
Ms Emy is married with four children and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
