Mr. Lakhani has been inspired to combine his entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and financial acumen with his passions for knowledge, technology, problem solving and his devotion to helping others.
Prior to founding Raisol Capital, Mr. Lakhani was Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Sterling Select (f/k/a Sterling Reliable), the Alternative Investment Platform of Sterling Equities – the owners of the NY Mets. Sterling Select was a platform for investments in early stage and growth companies at an inflection point in their business life-cycle. Mr. Lakhani has worked with legacy families in providing them a risk-mitigated opportunity to invest in growth companies while providing them attractive returns on their capital.
Prior to Sterling Select, Mr. Lakhani served as Group CEO of the Reliable Group, a company created through the merger of Reliable Data Systems, which he conceived and developed at the early age of 16, with PJL Systems and Reliable Elections Systems. His leadership and vision enabled the Reliable Group to grow into a multinational enterprise that provides application development services on diverse technology platforms and serves clients in over 25 countries worldwide.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Lakhani has embarked on dozens of entrepreneurial ventures, in which he held leadership positions. He was at the forefront of the call center industry, started a training institute that grew to have 6500 students, and acquired Jaguar Technical Institute and integrated over 500 accounts into the group.
Mr. Lakhani is on the board of the Wealth and Values Initiative, a legacy family group, a member of the Entrepreneurs Association, was voted Businessman of the Year by NY Enterprise report, and received a letter of appreciation from the White House for job creation in New York. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he focused his studies on Entrepreneurial Management and Real Estate.
Mr. Lakhani is married with 2 children, and lives in Long Island, NY.
